Matthew Cunningham is a veteran public and political affairs strategist with more than a quarter century of experience advising private and public sector clients on strategic communications, opinion management, campaign communications, government relations and community outreach. During his nearly thirty years as a strategist, writer and spokesman, Cunningham has worked for presidential candidates, an Assembly Speaker and many statewide and local political campaigns. He has served a planning commissioner, a county parks commissioner and is a Lincoln Fellow with the  Claremont Institute for the Study of Statesmanship and Political Philosophy.
